What we check first
The Honda issues a specialist knows by heart.
These are the well-documented, high-frequency faults on Honda platforms. Whether yours has them depends on the year, engine and mileage, which is what the diagnostic is for.
Timing belt on the V6 at 105,000 miles
The 3.5 V6 in Pilot, Odyssey and Accord uses a belt. Miss the interval and it is an engine. We do belt, water pump and tensioner together.
VTC actuator rattle on the 2.4
A short rattle on cold start on K24 engines is the VTC actuator. It is a known part and a straightforward fix.
A/C compressor and condenser
Texas summers find weak Honda A/C systems. We leak test, then replace the failed part, and we replace the condenser only when it is the leak.
